In Nordanstig there are many lovely fishing waters. Here you can go fishing for sea trout, zander, trout, char, rainbow trout, grayling, pike, perch and more.
Fishing is important to us, and Nordanstig Municipality runs among other things, a large environmental project where fishing is a central part. 70 miles of free waterways in the Harmångersån and Gnarpsån with respective tributaries is the goal. Salmon, trout, eel and other fish should once again be able to migrate up from the Bothnian Sea to further strengthen our excellent conditions for fantastic recreational fishing. There are fishing waters for many different kinds of sport fishing in our municipality, lakes, streams, small ponds and seas. Långtjärn is a unique handicap accessible facility with good service. At fishing license vendors, you can buy the "Nordanstigs-card", which allows fishing in almost the entire municipality. Local fishing licenses for special waters are also available. For fishing with an ordinary rod in the sea, a fishing license is not required.
Pike & Perch - A popular activity throughout the year. Our great interest in fishing makes it possible for you to experience sport fishing on the lake, regardless of the season. As long as the lakes are ice-free, there are boats with motors for rent. When the ice settles, there is equipment for ice fishing. We offer guided fishing trips and have partners for accommodation.
