Travel to and get around - in Nordanstig, northern Hälsingland, Sweden

The municipality of Nordanstig is located between the cities/municipalities of Hudiksvall and Sundsvall in Sweden. You can get to Nordanstig by car, boat, train or bus.

The nearest airport with regular flights is Midlanda (Sundsvall Härnösand Airport) between Sundsvall and Härnösand. www.sdlairport.se

We have two guest harbors for you who come by boat, where you can dock during your visit. A guest harbor in Stocka www.stockahamn.se and one in Mellanfjärden www.mellanfjarden.se 

You can travel within our municipality and our county with X-traffic buses and trains.
We have a train station in Gnarp where the county train from Gävle/Hudiksvall and Sundsvall stops. There are then many bus stops for public transport.

From the south; With SJ:'s train from Stockholm you are in Hudiksvall in 2.5-3 hours. With a long-distance bus, for example the Y-bus, it takes around 3-5 hours. The Y-buses and other long-distance buses stop at several stops within the municipality along the European route 4. We have a train station in our municipality, in Gnarp where X-trafik trains stop. From Hudiksvall to Gnarp station it takes 30 minutes with the X-train. X-traffic bus line 29 runs Hudiksvall-Sundsvall, through the municipality.
X-trafik's buses also take you to other locations.

From the north; Long-distance buses, for example Y-buss stop in Gnarp, among other places. Or take SJ's train to Sundsvall and continue with X-trafik to Gnarp in 25 minutes with the X-train. By bus it takes about 40 minutes. X-trafik's line 29 runs Sundsvall-Hudiksvall through the municipality.
