Nordanstig offers families with children a wide range of activities, all year round.
Summer activities
Play And Swimming - In Nordanstig there are many beautiful beaches to visit which are perfect for playing. Choose between lake, sea or temperate bathing. If you are looking for pleasant sea bathing, you can take a trip to Sörfjärden, where you will find Norrland's longest swimming beach.
Enchanted Forest - A fairytale adventure for the whole family. Here you can experience the story on your own at your own pace. Winding paths take you to fairies, gnomes and straight into the goblins' abode.
Hassela Adventure Land - There is a beach with piers, three outdoor pools, a beach volleyball court, a restaurant and changing rooms with showers. The children thrive on the pedal car track and bouncy castle, in sandboxes and playhouses and in an imaginative area for natural play. A lovely sun deck for a moment of relaxation after a few laps in the 25 meter pool; so a place for all ages! Call 070-584 63 95 for current information.
Raft Trips - Book a sauna raft in Sörfjärden 070-344 87 46.
Paddle The Canoe Trail -Take an exciting excursion in nature, paddle and set sail. At Kustleden Turism in Strömsbruk, you can rent canoes and go on an adventure! Bring a tasty coffee basket to enjoy during the journey.
Games And Sports - For those of you who like sports, there are tennis courts in Sörfjärden and in Harmånger. There is also a padel courts in Sörfjärden and Bergsjö. Mini golf can be offered in Hassela, Stocka, Sörfjärden and Mellanfjärden. In Mellanfjärden and Sörfjärden there is also the possibility to play boule, as in Harmånger, where you can also rent boules.
Horse Riding And Horse Tours - There are several different possibilities for riding experiences. See page ”Horses in Nordanstig”
Gräsåsens Garden Café - in addition to good coffee, there is a playground with a sandbox and a playhouse. On the walking loop in the birch grove, you can find both elves and trolls.

Winter Activities
Skiing - Hassela Ski Resort offers many of our winter activities! Cross-country and downhill skiing, Bäver Benny's club, ski school, ski rental, ski workshop, horse rides. Cross-country skiing is also available in several places in the municipality, for example Gnarp, Hassela, Ilsbo and Jättendal.
Ice Skating - Gällsta IK in Gnarp offers ice skating in their ice rink. Outdoor courses are available in Bergsjö, Ilsbo, Stocka and Hassela.
Christmas Story - The family adventure Trolska Skogen in Mellanfjärden opens up for a Christmas story, during the Advent holidays every year. A theater experience in the spirit of Christmas. (see winter time in more detail)
Movies In Cinemas - Offered at local cinemas in Bergsjö, Hassela, Stocka and Strömsbruk during different parts of the year.
