Ånäset - nature reserve
på HasselaÅnäset is a wooded, pine-dominated, cobblestone ridge about 1.3 km long, and forms a very scenic promontory in the northwestern part of Lake Hasselasjön. Roughly in the middle of the area is an open grassy area. Among the herbs we can mention torch flowers, gorse and field berry, and among less common plants, forest bell and King Karl's scepter have been found here.

Location: In the northwestern part of Lake Hassela, approx. 2 km from the center of Hassela. Forest 16 ha Meadow 3 ha Water and wetland 3 ha Other land 2 ha. Ånäset consists of a sharply marked rolling stone saucer forming an approx. 1300 meter long headland.
In 1983, a decision was made about this nature conservation area by the County Administrative Board, the Nature Conservation Unit.
